Sathya held senior positions in Strategic Product Planning, Product Management and Technical Marketing in Intel’s Datacenter Group. Sathya has worked on several generations of Intel’s server products and worked directly with customers across US, Europe, Japan and Taiwan.
A significant accomplishment was leading the Product Management for Intel’s 1st server System-on-Chip with the distinction of being on the core intrapreneurial team that took this from an idea to a successful product. As the 1st employee at Intel India’s server group, Sathya played a key role in setting up the India dev center (and one of India’s early ‘Global Capability Center’).
As Founding President of SEMI India, Sathya led the creation of India P&L unit of SEMI (US) and the launch of BOLARCON India, a B2B platform for the solar/photovoltaic industry. Currently, he is working on the domain areas of automation for major Aerospace Programs by leveraging emerging technologies such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing and others. Applying innovative approaches to automate the existing processes will help in improving quality, reduction of cycle-time, cost and boost productivity.
At Honeywell, George have lead new product development teams for navigation and communication functions, embedded global positioning system inertial navigation systems (EGI) advanced technology projects, application engineering, customer and product support engineering.
Solving challenging problems had always excited him since his Avionics function, integration and flight testing of Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) days with Aeronautical Development Authority (ADA), India. Leading a team of engineers in developing the navigation and landing guidance system for one of Honeywell’s customer, building the System Integration Test Setup (SITS) and widening the customer and product support base from India for variety of mechanical and electrical products for various aircraft platforms are also the key highlights of his career. He was one of the architects who cracked the on-board GPS outage issue on Honeywell-fielded GPS receivers and had the privilege of leading a team to install the first GPS Based Landing System in India at the Chennai airport.
